How can I purchase INVISION rear seat entertainment systems and accessories?
INVISION does not sell directly to the general public. Although INVISION values and appreciates consumer interest in our products, INVISION systems are exclusively available through your local new car dealer. If you are looking to purchase an INVISION system, please use our Vehicle Application Guide to find the INVISION system that fits your vehicle and have your local dealer order it for you. Contact the INVISION Customer Service department at 866-869-7888 for a referral to one of our participating dealerships.
Will the installation of an INVISION DVD system void the warranty of my vehicle?
INVISION products are designed to seamlessly integrate into your vehicle's interior without disrupting the vehicle's electrical systems. However, our products are only meant to be installed by a qualified technician to ensure vehicle integrity. Any misuse can result in a possible undesirable outcome. Please be sure to only have INVISION rear seat entertainment systems installed by your local new car dealer. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
Who performs the installation of the INVISION DVD systems?
All installations must be performed at the dealership where the system was purchased, or by an authorized installer of that dealership. Any installations performed by a third party will void your warranty.
How much do the INVISION DVD systems and accessories cost?
All products are available exclusively through new car dealerships. Please call your dealership for a price quote.
Can I listen to the sound of my DVD through the car stereo speakers?
Yes. Power up your system and place a disc in monitor “A” (headrest system) or in the only loader (Overhead/Center Console System). While pointing your remote at the monitor press the “DVD A” button directly under the red “POWER” button on your remote control. Next press the “Sound Around ON/OFF” button to turn on or off FM modulation as desired. Three buttons to right is the “Sound Around SELECT” button which will scroll through 6 possible stations for broadcasting speaker sound. Once selecting a station you
must then tune your stereo to the corresponding frequency.
How many headrests are included in the INVISION DVD headrest systems?
Each headrest system includes at least two headrests. Systems are available in up to three different configurations. Configuration 1: One DVD player and one satellite monitor. Configuration 2: Dual DVD players. Configuration 3: A four headrest system with dual DVD players and dual satellite monitors.
What is the warranty on my INVISION rear seat entertainment system?
For new vehicles, INVISION offers a Factory Match Warranty™ which matches the manufacturer’s basic factory warranty. When installed in a used vehicle, the warranty is 12 months / 12,000 miles regardless of the manufacturer.
Do I need to register my system to have warranty coverage?
Yes. All systems must be registered within 120 days of installation to be covered under warranty. To register your system, please use our Warranty Registration form.
Can I upgrade my single DVD headrest system to a dual DVD headrest system?
Yes. Please call your dealership to order this upgrade. The satellite monitor will be removed and a new DVD player/monitor will be installed in its place.
Who do I call if I need to file a warranty claim?
Please call your dealership to troubleshoot and diagnose any problems that you may be experiencing. If you return to the dealership where you purchased your INVISION system then all parts will be covered if you fall under the guidelines of our Limited Product Warranty.
